Suitability
Before your facial, we discuss your skin type, sensitivity, allergies, current products, and any active irritation or skin conditions. Some facials may be postponed if your skin is actively irritated, sunburned, or reacting to a recent procedure. Tell us about prescription skincare and recent treatments so products and steps can be chosen appropriately.
During your appointment
Your skin is cleansed and assessed, and each step is explained as the facial progresses. The experience is intended to be comfortable and relaxing. If anything feels uncomfortable at any point, let your provider know so the treatment can be adjusted.
Recovery and home care
Most facials involve little to no downtime, though temporary redness or sensitivity is possible, particularly with exfoliating steps. Individual reactions to products can occur. Your provider shares aftercare guidance and can recommend home-care products that extend the benefits of your facial between visits.
